Swan Boats

We are continuing to enjoy the sites of VN! We started our day at 'Baguette et Chocolat' at the Museum of Ethnoglogy. It was a really neat place and we ate under a pagoda. Next we headed into Hanoi to meet up with Heidi, Chris, and Chloe to see the swan boats together. We went to Westlake and enjoyed the sights as we walked around the streets. We rode on the Swanboats and then had a delicious lunch at the 'Kitchen' I enjoyed falafel and hummus and it was great to have comfort food! Westlake has unique shops- very contemporay. We couldn't resisit and picked up a few things.

Facts of the day:

  • The people of Vietnam are amazing. As we had been told before we travelled, everyone wants to hold Kate when we are out. Surprisingly, I do not mind. She enjoys hearing the language and getting the attention as long as I am in view.
  • Kate is an eater. Despite being a 'lil bit she loves food!
  • The traffic and motorbikes are unreal! One cannot truly believe it unless they see it.
