Closer and Closer to coming home!

Kate likes to be held---although she is braving
it on her own for play time more and more each day!

We have spent the past two days exploring the city. There is so much to see and do, one can't even come close to getting to it all in 2 weeks. Matt and I love to just walk the streets and see what we will run into. Matt has taken to really interacting with the street peddlers. He had a good point that either you can joke around with them and politely refuse their shoe shine or rudely tell them to get away. Someone wanted to shine my sandles yesterday!!!!! I also got fitted for an authentic VN dress by the nicest ladies. They were so beautiful and kind. They were quite enamoroued by Kate.

We also finally tried Bobby Chins. Definitely the best meal of the trip and we have had some amazing food! The atmosphere is very chic and calming, a nice respite from the beeping motor bikes that fill the streets. We are planning to go back for our final excursion before we head to the airport.
Our visa appointment was this afternoon. Quite painless compared to what we have gone through to get to this point and much different than I had anticipated! I will try and post again in the morning before we pack up to head out! We can't wait to get home to Jack and the rest of our family and friends. Vietnam has been wonderful but we are ready to get Kate home where she belongs!
