Wow, what an amazing city! We checked into the hotel and immediately set off for Hanoi. The hotel is very nice and the people here are so accommadating! We walked around Hoan Kiem lake and took in the sights. I am glad we are going to be here for 2 weeks because there is so much to see. Some of our favorites of the day--- having dinner with Heidi, Chris and a sleepy Chloe at the Green Tangerine (YUMMY!), shopping and starting to learn the power of bargaining, and the market---quite the sights for the vegetariain that I am. The best part of the whole day was talking to Jack, grammy and grandma. Jack wanted to know why his little sister was not in the pictures---just a few more days.
