Our travel plans have come together. We leave for Vietnam on Friday and arrive in Hanoi on Sunday. It will be a long flight but we are really excited about our journey. I am brought to tears with every passing minute ....I am truly blessed with an amazing group of family and friends that love Kate to pieces already and are supporting us more than they could know.
The past few days have been filled with travel plans, lots of lists but most of all spending time with Jackson as this will be the first time we will be apart. Jackson will stay home with my parents, grandma and rockstar ''aunts" and "uncles." He has so many playdates planned that I am not sure he will really notice that we are gone. Thank goodness for technology so that we will be able to talk to Jackson daily and he will be able to see his little sister.
We are so happy for our friends that are e arriving back in the U.S. with their children that they adopted from Kate's orphanage and are the first to complete the process in our group. These are very happy days!
